Support the proposed revisions to the exemptions in the RoHS Directive (European Commission)

In June, the European Commission published draft revisions to the lighting exemptions for mercury-containing fluorescent lamps in their “Have your say” public consultation webpage. The comment period for each measure is open for 4 weeks. They posted a series of separate proposals, each of which contain one or more proposed revisions to the exemptions in the Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) Directive for mercury-containing lighting products.

Seaborough supports a fast transition from conventional mercury containing fluorescent lights into energy saving and high compatible LED lights. We urge everyone who is concerned about mercury in lighting to submit comments via the link below.
