In June, the European Commission published draft revisions to the lighting exemptions for mercury-containing fluorescent lamps in their “Have your say” public consultation webpage. The comment period for each measure is open for 4 weeks. They posted a series of separate proposals, each of which contain one or more proposed revisions to the exemptions in the Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) Directive for mercury-containing lighting products.
