Electronics
The Electronics program runs various long-term R&D projects on increasing adoption of LED lighting, in collaboration with world leading companies. Flagship solutions are OneTLed and the brand new Ultima technology.
We want to make impact across the full lighting industry. Therefore, we are active in three areas: Electronics, Life Science, and Materials. Below, you find more information for each of the programs.
The Electronics program runs various long-term R&D projects on increasing adoption of LED lighting, in collaboration with world leading companies. Flagship solutions are OneTLed and the brand new Ultima technology.
The Life Science team invents technologies to improve people’s well-being and health with light. Our most recent activities are in the field of photobiomodulation.
Our team brings fundamental materials science to the market. The new color-converting materials we developed increase light output and light quality of white LEDs while reducing production costs and environmental impact.
Seaborough is an LED technology company that invents, develops, and commercializes (via licensing) sustainable lighting solutions. These solutions are developed in our three programs that all contribute to our green and healthy vision. Our Electronics program focuses on increasing adoption of LED lighting.
In our Materials program we improve the current state of the art warm white LEDs in both efficiency and color quality, by inventing more efficient phosphors for LED applications. This will result in increased LED adoption and energy savings. With our third Life Science program, we focus further on the health impact of light and using beneficial lighting effects for medical and preventive health purposes.
