Scientific paper award at LpS Digital to our Anne Berends
Our Anne Berends won this year's award for best Scientific Publication at LpS Digital!
LpS Digital is the yearly (digital) conference for the LED community. Topics discussed are state-of-the-art LED solutions from components to applications in lighting, automotive, disinfection, etc. This year's event hosted renowned speakers from Lighting Europe, Lumileds, and Nichia (among others).
A highlight of the program is the Awards Ceremony for innovative products and groundbreaking research. We are delighted that the jury decided to award the 2023 prize for Best Scientific Paper to Dr. Anne Berends, our Program Director Life Science. She received the award for the article that she published with her colleagues Tom Hilgerink and Mike Krames in the 100th edition of Led Professional Magazine, click here to read the article.
In the article, Anne and her colleagues discuss the clinically proven health benefits of near-infrared light, and how these insights can be translated to allow integration into devices that improve the quality of the built environment and ultimately our health and wellbeing.
