Product (Marketing) Manager

Amsterdam

Are you ready for a new challenge in the lighting industry?

Light and health are closely related. At Seaborough, we are developing new light-based solutions to improve human health and wellbeing. Are you our new Product (Marketing) Manager who forms the bridge between our clients and technical team, and plays and active role in marketing and business development of our technologies?
In a multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for enthusing (potential) clients about our innovative technologies, and for successful implementation of our technology in the products of our customers. While most of your projects will be related to the Life Science program, your expertise and skills could also help the other teams within Seaborough when product (marketing) related projects arise.

Here is what you will mainly be up to as Product (Marketing) Manager in our Life Science team

  • As a core member of the team, you participate in the full process of brainstorming on new ideas and solutions within the scope of the Life Science program, and you lead the process of technology transfer and joint product development with our customers.
  • You own the joint development process with our customers by making a project plan, define what expertise is needed (and when) to make the project a success, and oversee the execution of the plan.
  • In our in-house R&D process, you have a large contribution in brainstorming on new product concepts that will be converted into proof-of-concept devices. You work closely with our Senior Product Designer to deliver attractive examples of how our technology can work for our clients.
  • Together with our Head of Marketing and Business Development and Program Director, you define appealing value propositions and develop marketing materials, and you join (global) trade show visits to bring the message across.
  • As the team is small, collaboration and helping each other is key to achieve our goals on various projects and topics. We share ideas and results, spark creativity, and drill down on fundamental problems.
  • Your work will lead to new intellectual property and manufacturing breakthroughs. You will contribute to intellectual property through technical inventions and patents.
