Seaborough is seeking for a Marketing & Communication Officer

Seaborough invents, develops, and commercializes ground-breaking innovations for the lighting industry.

The company runs several long-term research and development projects in collaboration with world-leading research institutes and universities.

The IP is commercialized through licensing contracts with strategic partners. Seaborough is highly committed to support these partners during the implementation phase of its IP in finished products.

  • Digital Strategy: Assist in formulating and executing digital strategies to establish a lasting connection with Seaborough’s stakeholders, customers (OEM and B2B) and general public (the consumers).
  • Social Media Management: Plan and monitor our company’s presence on social media platforms, with a focus on LinkedIn.
  • Online Advertising: Launch optimized online advertisements using platforms like Google AdWords, Scientific, Industry and application based online magazines to enhance brand awareness.
  • SEO Efforts: Actively participate in SEO efforts, including keyword optimization and image optimization.
  • Content Marketing: Prepare engaging online newsletters, promotional emails, and website content.
  • User Experience Enhancement: Collaborate with designers to improve user experience on our website.
  • Performance Measurement: Utilize web analytics tools (such as Google Analytics and WebTrends) to measure the effectiveness of digital marketing campaigns.
  • Vendor Relationships: Maintain partnerships with media agencies and vendors.
  • Offline Marketing: Contribute to offline marketing activities, including print materials, events, and consistent branding across physical channels.

We' re looking for open-minded and hands-on digital co-worker in our enthusiastic international team, that has:

  • Digital Marketing Knowledge: Understanding of digital marketing concepts and best practices
  • Social Media Expertise: Experience with B2C social media platforms, particularly LinkedIn
  • Content management: You possess skills and you have affinity in creative content writing
  • Analytical Mindset:  You have affinity to analyze data and think critically
  • Communication Skills: You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Education: BSc/BA in marketing or a relevant field
    Language: English (mandatory), Dutch (preferred)
  • Relevant Experience is desirable but also depends on your qualities

Furthermore, your personal skills are equally important.
Your interest and/or experience with, for example, the latest generative AI tools, or hobbies such as visual design and technology. In short, a creative in the digital field makes us excited!
