Here’s what you’ll mainly be up to:

Technical side:

  •  You will work together with the electronics team to come up with solutions to technical problems or assisting in building test setups and be responsible to testing for those setups.
  • The electronics team designs and develops non-conventional power supplies for LED lighting in the range of 8W till 100W. Experience in the field design, development and testing of any sort of power supply (AC-DC or DC-DC) is important for you to effectively contribute in the team. PCB design experience is a big plus.
  • The electronics team works on projects which fall in the purely analog and embedded electronics domain. MCU programming skills on Arduino, Raspberry pi, Industrial MCUs from ST, Texas instruments etc. are required for effectively contributing in the projects.
  • You will be part of the electronics team which comes up with meaningful intellectual property for the lighting industry.
  • You will be doing third party testing for the designed products like EMI testing.
  • You will take part in setting up tests required for demos and product validation.
  • You will be the first point of contact for field related issues and problem debugging. This may include travelling within or outside EU.
  • This will be around 70% of your work and balanced according to the status of various projects.

Project management side:

  • Overall project management of electronics team and reporting line to Program Director and CEO.
  • You will coordinate, the communication(s) between the internal technical team and external technical team(s), either customer side or joint collaborations. This will be 30% of your work and balanced according to project expectations.
  • You will assist in writing project reports for technical grants.
  • You will assist in review of market data and prepare reports for use in the respective projects.
  • You will create user manuals and train users and administrators for usage of the internal technology or test setups.

Is it you we're looking for?

Your education, knowledge & work experience:

  • Do you have a bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation engineering or equivalent?
  • Do you have at least 3 years’ experience in a similar role?
  • Maybe you are electronics engineer in the field of power supplies who wants to add project management skills to his or her skill set?

Your soft skills:

  • You will be part of the electronics team which comes up with meaningful
  • You will work together with the electronics team to come up with solutions to technical problems or assisting in building test setups and be responsible to testing for those setups.
  • We often found major deviations compared to earlier measured values, which can easily lead to wrong conclusions of the material’s quality and applicability.
  • That was the reason to build our own measurement setup and validate it according to industry standards.
